George R. Bailey, Jr.

George “Rickey” Bailey, Jr., 54, Elberton, passed away at Elbert Memorial Hospital on September 13, 2010.He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Bailey Born on July 4, l956 in Wilkes County, Ga., he was the son of the George R. Bailey, Sr. and stepmother Mildred. Mr. Bailey was a member of Concord United Methodist Church where he served as Youth Director. Survivors include wife, Denise Donald Bailey, son Beau Jacob Bailey and wife Tori, soon to be grandson Chevy Richard Bailey, sister Sandra Booth and husband Gary, mother in law Dolly Clay, several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Hicks Funeral Home from 6 to 8pm.Funeral services with be held Thursday September 16th at 2pm at Concord United Methodist Church.
