George Thomas Driver

Mr. George Thomas Driver, 71, of 2479 Nickville Road, Dewy Rose, Georgia died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at his home. Mr. Driver was born in Elbert County, Georgia, April 13, 1939, son of the late Thomas Audry and Pernie Maxwell Driver. He was a Farmer and was a member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Stacy Thomas Driver of Macon, Georgia and Jason Edward Driver of Hull, Georgia; brothers, Leland E. Driver of Gainesville, Georgia and Julian H. Driver of Dewy Rose, Georgia; sisters, Loretta D. Dove of Royston, Georgia and Mary Ann Black of Elberton, Georgia. Preceded in death by one son, Michael Driver. Graveside services for Mr. Driver will be at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Deep Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Adams officiating. The body is at the Pruitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday evening. The family is at their respective homes.
