George Gary Wallace, Iii

Mr. George Gary Wallace, III, 76, of Baltusrol Way, Covington, husband of Karen Del Nazarenus Wallace, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens.

Mr. Wallace was born in Florence, SC on September 16, 1943, son of George Gary Wallace, Jr. and Dorothy Louise Wright-Wallace. He was a Pulp and Paper Mill Engineer and a U.S Air Force Veteran having served in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; children: Tara Wallace Haff and husband Bob, Amanda Restivo Reyes and husband Joel, and Anthony Restivo and wife Trace; grandchildren; Robert Haff, Casey Haff, Sophia Restivo, Alexander Restivo, and Olivia Restivo; and siblings: Diane Moss, Sandra Muller, Ronnie Wallace, and Terry Wallace.

Memorial services will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at a later date.
