George Neal Callaway, Jr., 56, of 210 Noble Road, Carlton, widower of Debra Louise Guest Callaway, died Friday, June 10, 2011, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Athens, March 5, 1955, son of George Neal, Sr. and Betty Lou Ginn Callaway. He was a polisher in the granite industry. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his children, Jeremy Neal Callaway and Eric Thomas Callaway, both of Elberton, and Kelly Debra Callaway of Carlton; siblings and their spouses, June and George Parker of Liberty, SC, Loyd and Deborah Callaway, Tim Callaway, all of Comer, Joan and Neal Doster of Carlton, and Jean and Terry Autry of Comer; and two grandchildren, Alyssa Brook Callaway and Natli Debra Villegas. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 12, at 4PM in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the Revs. Ken Callaway and William Anglin officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Carlton, GA. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2-4PM Sunday, just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. The family greatly appreciates all flowers.
