Mrs. Geraldine Cordell Latham, 90, of Greenville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Wallace and Ruby Cordell, and wife of the late Floyd Latham, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Geraldine and her late husband, Floyd, owned and operated Latham Granite Sales in Elberton, Georgia beginning in 1974 until 2016. Geraldine was a very loving and giving mother to her three children. She had a heart that was so tender, kind, caring and sacrificial. No matter what she was facing in life she always put others first, and was an amazing caregiver. She is survived by her loving children, Curtis, Melinda, and Rodney; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren. Burial was held at Graceland Cemetery West, 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. After the burial the family received family and friends at Mrs. Latham's home. Palmetto Mortuary of Greenville was in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Geraldine Cordell Latham.
