Gloria Ray Adams

Mrs. Gloria Ray Adams, 77, of Elberton, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020.A native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Carlis and Opal Jane Partain Ray. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, James Anthony Adams II and brother, Gordon Fletcher Ray. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and an Operator with Southern Bell Telephone Company.She loved gardening, was an artist and produced beautiful drawings. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Natalie Jane Adams Byers and Edward P. Riley III and Laura Adams Beitzel and Mark Beitzel, all of Simpsonville, SC; grandchildren, Brooke Byers Tidwell, Lee Andrew Byers, John Alexander Byers and Isabelle Jane Byers, Kendall Lee Adams, Logan Elliot Beitzel and Clayton James Beitzel; great grandchild, Eden Jane Augusta Beam; and one sister, Donna Ray Wilhite.
