Gloria Kinard Jarrell

Mrs. Gloria Kinard Jarrell, age 80, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Monday, October 24, 2011, at her residnce. Mrs. Jarrell was born in Griffin, Georgia on February 12, 1931 to the late Durwood Dewitt Kinard and the late Myrtice Gertrude English Kinard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grady Jarrell. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and retired from Fashion Pillow in Jackson. Survivors include her children, Debbie and Jim Hubert of Jackson, Angie and Larry Mathis of Jackson, Randy Jarrell and Lori Davis of Griffin, Carl and Lynn Jarrell of Elberton, GA; grandchildren, Missy and Jeff Burson, Katie Glass, Vanessa and Keven Potts, Nicole Jarrell, Cody Jarrell, Zack Jarrell; great grandchildren, Lauren, Hunter, Gavin, Abby, Logan, Madalyn, Ansley, Rhett; great-great-grandchild Addie; sisters, Myrtice Simmon, Thelma Griffin, Faye Heywood, all of Griffin; brothers, Billy Kinard of Griffin, Ray Kinard of Flovilla, GA. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 West McIntosh Road, Griffin, Georgia, 30223. Friends and family are asked to assemble in the Foster-Huddleston Cemetery in Butts County on Wednesday, October 26, for a 3 p.m. graveside funeral service officiated by the Rev. Lawrence Burge.
