Gordon Young Mosley

Gordon Young Mosley, Sr., loving husband, father, brother and friend, retired civil servant from Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Ga., passed away on May 7, 2011, with his family by his side. He served in the U. S. Navy for 4 years.He retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base after 30 years and then spent many happy years working at Walmart Garden Center in Elberton.He is survived by his loving wife JoAnn Mosley of 43 years, son: Gordon (Lisa) Mosley,Jr., daughters: Lynn Neidhardt and Cynthia (Gene) Grantham, grandchildren:Rebecca and Joshua Grantham, brother: Ned (Beulah) Mosley, sister:June (Tony) Tucker, Celia Mathis and Daphine (Jim) Carroll and several nieces and nephews also survive. A celebration of life service for Mr. Gordon will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home Chapel.Officiating will be cousin William H. Stewart.
