Guyrine Wilder Bordua

Mrs. Nellie Guyrine Wilder Bordua, 83, of Royston, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Nancy Hart Nursing Home surrounded by her family. A native of Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late, Thomas Lester and Mattie Belle Brackett Wilder. Mrs. Bordua was a homemaker and a member of Royston Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Fred Bordua; Robert Lee Morrison, her first husband and father of her four sons; sons, Lester Morrison, Vernon Morrison, George Morrison and Roger Morrison, one brother, Charlie Wilder and seven sisters, Elizabeth Partain, Ruth Morrison, Jeanette Davis, Pauline Hatton, Lucille Partain, Maxine Burdette,and Patricia Barnes. Survivors include two sisters, Shirley McCannon, of Elberton and Vera Farrow, of Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 11:00am in the chapel of Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Adams officiating.Interment followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Monday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Arrangements for Mrs. Guyrine Bordua were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
