Harold Anderson

Mr. Harold Anderson, 69, of Elberton, Ga. passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at his home. Mr. Anderson was the son of the late Clarence Chester Anderson and Essie Bagley Anderson.He was the husband of Maggie Townley Anderson. In addition to his loving wife of 49 years, Mr. Anderson is survived by his children:Judy (Ed) Garner, Jerry (Tammy) Anderson and James Anderson all of Elberton.He is also survived by grandchildren:Kimberly Garner, Micheal Garner, Tanya Anderson and Janna Anderson all of Elberton, and brother: Larry Anderson of Rayle, Ga. Mr. Anderson was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Tanna Anderson and four brothers. A service to celebrate Mr. Anderson’s life was held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, with Rev. Sharon Coley and Rev. Randy Walworth officiating. Visitation for family and friends was on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton.Interment was at Middleton United Methodist Church Cemetery in Elberton, Ga.
