Mr. Harold Eugene Little, 82, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, South Carolina. Mr. Little was born in Hartwell, Georgia to the late Willie and Gertrude Duncan Little.He was the husband of Jean Partain Little, having celebrated over 60 years of marriage together.Mr. Little was retired from the City of Elberton Utilities Department, and was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, Jean, Mr. Little is survived by a son, Kenneth W. Little and his wife, Vicki, of Elberton; two daughters: Marilyn Huff and her husband, Daryl, of Evans, and Carol Hodnett and her husband, James, of Gordon; grandchildren: Amber Little, Jessica Moose (Dave), Tyler Huff, Kyle Huff, Brandon Shrewsbury, and Hannah Shrewsbury; and great-grandchildren: Lauren Moose and Harper Moose.He also leaves behind a brother, Paul Little of Mansfield, and a sister, Hazel Dickerson of Hartwell. Mr. Little was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Pilgrim, and a brother, Bud Little. A service to celebrate Mr. Little’s life was held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Concord United Methodist Church, with Rev. Bryan Smith and Rev. Anne Reynolds officiating.A time of visitation began at 1:00 p.m. just prior to the service.Interment followed in the church cemetery. Flowers were graciously accepted, and memorials may be made to the Rainey Hospice House at 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.Online condolences may be left for the family at www.hicksfuneral.com. Arrangements for Mr. Harold Eugene Little were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
