Harry Wright

Mr. Harry Faircloth Wright, Sr. 85, passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter on May 20, 2012. He was one of three children, born to the late Robert and Gladys Wright on February 10, 1927. He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa Smith Wright. Harry will forever be remembered by his beloved sisters Jane Giannoni and Naunie Batchelder, his daughter Lynn (Lee) Wright Schneller, sons Robert Wright and the late Harry (Hal) Faircloth Wright, Jr. He was the uncle of Brittney Wright, Theiry (Michael) Goodman, T.J. (Brian) Dyer, Rebecca (Tony) Jenkins, Gary (Pat) Giannoni and Bruce Batchelder. Harry treasured his grandchildren Jennifer (Jake) White, Ashley (Tony) Boone, Ryan (Jillian) and Lauren Wright and Robbie Wright. Harry had three great grandchildren, Taylor, Jace and Caiden Boone Harry leaves behind countless other friends and family who were blessed to have known him. He was an avid golf, tennis and ping-pong player, He enjoyed gardening and a host of other hobbies. Harry touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Funeral services for Mr. Wright will be held Saturday; May 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Friday; May 25, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hicks Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.hicksfuneral.com.
