Herbert Wayne Johnson

Herbert Wayne Johnson, 55, of 909 East Savannah St. Calhoun Falls, SC husband of Kathy James Johnson died Saturday September 18, 2010 at Self Regional Health Care in Greenwood, SC. Born in Abbeville, SC he was a son of Bobbie Mae Hill Bonds and the late Lloyd Johnson. He was a member of Faith Harvest Fellowship Church and was a former employee of Mohawk Industries and was a former manager of KFC. Survivors include his wife of the home Kathy James Johnson, daughters and son-in-laws Jennifer and Duane Gary, and Jill and Tim Timms, sons and daughter-in-laws Jeremy and Erin Johnson, and Josh and Sherri Johnson, his mother Bobbie Mae and Bobby Wayne Bonds, sisters Billie Fay James and Bucky Lynn Lunsford, and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Johnson, a sister Patsy Ambrose, and a brother Danny Johnson. A Celebration of Wayne's life will be Monday September 20, at 3PM at Faith Harvest Fellowship Church with Rev. W. Michael Ford and Rev. John G. Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in Latimer Cemetery in Calhoun Falls. The family will be at the home 909 East Savannah St. and will receive friends from 1 to 2:45PM just prior to the service at Faith Harvest Fellowship Church in the Sanctuary.
