Homer Alan Copeland

Homer Alan Copeland, 39, of 1043 Longstreet Road, Elberton, died Wednesday morning, April 6, 2011, at Heardmont Nursing Home. Mr. Copeland was born in Bartow County, Georgia, March 10, 1972, son of Alan Copeland and Shirley Dobbs. He was a 37 year resident of Heardmont Nursing Home and was preceded in death by his longtime dedicated caregiver and guardian, Aldine Cecchini McLeod on March 12, 2011. Survivors include caretaker, Donna Lee Seymour of Elberton; and the residents and staff of Heardmont Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 8, at 2:30PM in Elmhurst Cemetery with Reverend Timothy Adams officiating. Viewing will be from 2-2:30PM Friday, in Elmhurst Cemetery.
