Horace Mann

Mr. Horace Mann, age 86, of Elberton died December 24, 2018 in a nursing facility in Elberton.

Mr. Mann was a native of Lyons, lived most of his life in Dunnellon, FL, and had resided in Elberton for just over a year. He was an electrical engineer who worked many years for Western Electric and later retired from AT&T. He was Methodist by Faith.

Mr. Mann is preceded in death by his wife, Timi Mann; and his parents, Herman and Lucille Mann.

He is survived by his brother, Charles and Frances Mann of Elberton.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Horace Mann will be held Monday, January 7, 2019, at 2:00p.m. at Lyons City Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Anderson officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation at Chatters Restaurant of Lyons at 11:30 AM on the day of the service.

Berry Funeral Home of Elberton and Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Lyons is in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Horace Mann.
