Survivors include his wife Hazel Price Payton, sons and a daughter-in-law Wayne and Angela Payton, and Keith Payton, a sister Sara P. Brown, and a granddaughter Kristen Payton. Funeral services will be held Monday April 27 at 3PM at the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-3PM Monday just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Flowers are optional and memorials may be made in his honor to Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
