Hugh Talmadge Kidd

Hugh Talmadge Kidd, 79, of Bowman, died Wednesday morning, March 23, 2011, at the Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mr. Kidd was born in Elbert County, May 5, 1931, son of the late Dewy T. and Mae Bell Moon Kidd. He was a member of the Rehoboth Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memories are brother and sisters-in-law, Roger and Juanita Kidd of Bowman and Jane Kidd, of Dewy Rose; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris K. and Jimmy Dixon and Martha K. and Wayne Teasley, all of Bowman; and several other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by brother, Rev. Robert Kidd. Services to honor and celebrate his life will be held Friday, March 25, at 3PM in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Reverend Timothy Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home of Roger and Juanita Kidd, 1547 Seymour Road, Bowman, and will receive friends from 1-3PM Friday, prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Robbie Kidd, Reggie Teasley, Rabun Kidd, Louis Cleghorne, Cody McCreary, and Tom Kidd. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.berryfh.com.
