Ida Wansley Webb

Ida Wansley Webb, 101, formerly of Elberton, GA widow of the late Atticus Webb died Monday March 1, 2010. Born in Elbert County she was a daughter of the late Andrew Wansley and Lucy Smith Wansley. She was a member of Prince Ave. Baptist Church in Athens, GA and was a retired fraternity housemother at the University of Georgia. Survivors include two grandchildren Susan BeAll and Steven Webb both of Maryland, and three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughters Sonia Webb, Marianne Webb, and a son William C. Webb. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday March 5, at 2PM at Elmhurst Cemetery with Rev. Jack Bozeman officiating. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-1:30 just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Berry Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements for Mrs. Ida Wansley Webb.
