Jack Russell Haynie

Jack Russell Haynie, 77, of 2241 Turner HIll Road, Rock Branch Community, Elberton, husband of the late Ima Nell Stratton Haynie, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Haynie was born in Stephens County, July 19, 1935, to the late Thomas Cunningham Haynie and Julia Williams Haynie. He was a retired tile setter and a U.S. Army Veteran. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Christopher Russell Haynie and his wife Amber and Jackie Haynie Bakston, all of Elberton; brother, Bobby Haynie of Toccoa; three grandchildren, Chloe Bakston, Emma Haynie, and Remington Haynie; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by siblings, Dan, James, Tommy, Charles, Rufus, and Mary. Graveside services celebrating his life will be held Tuesday, March 26, at 11:00AM in the New Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Haynie family is at the residence, 2241 Turner Hill Road, Rock Branch Community, and will receive friends at Berry Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00PM Monday evening.
