Jackie Lee Wilkerson

Mrs. Jackie Lee Flowers Wilkerson, 71, of Comer, GA, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospice House in Watkinsville.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born in Atlanta on July 20, 1946, daughter of the late Loyd V. “Vase” Flowers and Ruby Wilson Flowers. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Holiness Church.

Surviving are her children: Ricky Herrington, Darlene Hill, Vicki Carter, David Hill, and Matthew David Hill; sisters: Shirley Hill and Helen Anglin; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Wilkerson and brother, Lamar Flowers.

Memorial services celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, May 6, at 3 o’clock at Macedonia Holiness Church with the Revs. Kendall Callaway and William Anglin officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service.

Flowers are accepted and should be delivered to Macedonia Holiness Church on Sunday. Contributions may be made in Jackie’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
