Jackie Wall Coogler

Lola Julienne "Jackie" Wall Coogler, 82, of 440 Highland Avenue, Elberton, wife of the late John B. Coogler, Jr., passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Coogler was born in Elbert County, May 16, 1930, to the late Jule Wall and Elizabeth Field Wall.She was a member of First Baptist Church of Elberton, a member of the VFW, and was retired from the Elberton Star and Elberton Radio where she was a secretary. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Tim Evans of Elberton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, John Michael Coogler. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held 4:30PM Saturday, April 13, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Fife officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Bill Childers, Bobby Jones, Shane Evans, Michael Evans, Shane Johnson and Dean Harris serving as pallbearers. The Coogler family is at the home, 440 Highland Avenue and will receive friends from 3:30 to 4:30PM Saturday just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
