James Amos Alexander

James Amos Alexander, 65, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at his home, 3329 Ruckersville Road, Elberton, Georgia. Mr. Alexander was the son of the late Amos G. Alexander and Cornelia Charping Alexander. Mr. Alexander is survived by one daughter: Tonya A. (Richard) Lewis, brother, Danny A. (Denise) Alexander, sisters: Hazel (Morris) Cannon, Carolyn Maroney and Dorothy (Jay) Sloan.He is also survived by two grandsons, Wesley Fields and Christian Lewis. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by two sons; Rodney and Wesley Alexander. The service for Mr. Alexander will be Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at 3329 Ruckersville Road, Elberton, Ga.Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Hicks Funeral Home.
