James Allen West

Mr. James Allen West, 69, of McEver Rd., Commerce, GA died on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Athens Regional Medical Center after a short bout with cancer.

He was born in Maryville, TN on February 23, 1948 to Clay West and Artie Costner West. He spent many years both in Eastern Tennessee and in Georgia where he made his living as a mechanic and electrician. He was known and loved by many.

He is survived by; his wife Betty Davis, daughter Cheryl Culbertson, son-in-law David Culbertson, grandson Wesley Culbertson, brother Billy West, sisters - Linda West, Delphia Brock, and Lois Miller as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. West's wishes were to be cremated.
