James "Buddy" Russell Taylor

Mr. James "Buddy" Russell Taylor, 68, of Vickery Creek Dr., Hartwell, GA passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Taylor was born May 13, 1948 in Greenville, SC to the late Thomas Leroy Taylor and Irene Jones Taylor. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his significant other Connie Dutton; step-children Gerald Smith, Kenny Smith, Adam Dutton, Autumn Dutton, Andrew Dutton and Stephanie Singleton; siblings Jerry Taylor, Frances Scott and Pat Epps; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Beth Black Taylor; step-son Tim Smith, grandson Barren Russell “Rusty” Smith and sisters Jackie Summers and Margaret Cleveland.

Private memorial services to celebrate his life will be held later.
