James Henry O'Dell

Mr. James Henry O’Dell, 74, of Deadwyler Rd., Elberton, GA passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 at his home.

Mr. O’Dell was born August 26, 1948 in Elberton, GA to Henry Bryant O’Dell and Etta Mae Burn O’Dell. He was a member of Elberton Church of God and was a retired stonecutter.

He is survived by his wife Linda Segars O’Dell; children: Crickett White (Paul) of Elberton, GA, Stacy Williams (Kelley) of Elberton, GA, Jeannie Lathan (Doug) of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services to celebrate James life will be held 2PM, Wednesday, October 26 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. James Gunn and Rev. Wesley Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Nick White, Josh White, Kenneth Williams, Shawn Williams, Tristyn Jordan and Mason Lathan serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6PM to 8PM Tuesday night at Berry Funeral Home.
