James "Jimmy" Coy Attaway

Mr. James "Jimmy" Coy Attaway, 65, of Farm Lane, Colbert, Georgia husband of Katie Carey Attaway passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born November 15, 1948 in Elberton, Georgia to Juanita Jones Attaway and the late Harold Attaway. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed by Lowe's in Athens as a loader. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Katie Carey Attaway of Colbert, GA; mother Juanita Jones Attaway of Elberton, GA. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 2PM, Friday January 10 in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Reverend John Case officiating. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park at a later date. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends from 1-2PM Friday just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home.
