Jane Dixon Ledbetter

Janie Dixon Ledbetter, 91, of Elberton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 8, 2010.She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ledbetter, brothers, D.C., Dave and George Martin Dixon, sisters, Anna Bradford and Lucille Saxon. Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey (Kim) Ledbetter and Warren (Marion) Ledbetter, daughter, Alice (Buddy) Lindsey, a sister-in-law that lived in the home, Velma (Ed) Crook, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sisters, Cynthia Proto, of Easthaven, Connecticut, Sara Johnson and Martha “Bay” (Randall) Gunter. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 3pm from the Chapel of the Hicks Funeral Home with the Reverend Rick Maeser officiating.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 7-9PM.
