Jane Rousey Bearden

Martha Jane Rousey Bearden, 61, of 1977 Tanglewood Drive, Elberton, wife of Eugene Bearden, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at her residence. Born January 7, 1952 in Franklin County to the late Alvin W. Rousey and Java Lou Parham Rousey. She was a member of Solid Rock Church of God and was a homemaker. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Raymond EuGene Bearden; daughter Stephanie Renee Tucker of Washington, Georgia; sister Priscilla Ann Rousey of Tignall, Georgia; and a grandson Doug Tucker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a twin brother Douglas Gene Rousey. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM Saturday, March 9 at the Elberton Church of God with Reverend Ann Reynolds, Reverend Barbara Odem, Reverend Steve Rogers officiating. The body will be placed in the church to lie in state from 1-2PM just prior to the service. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery with Reverend James Gunn officiating. Pallbearers will include Doug Tucker, Greg Bearden, Zack Bearden, Darrell Roth, Michael Mobley and Michael Brumfield. The Bearden family is at the home 1977 Tanglewood Drive and will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday night at Berry Funeral Home.
