Janice "G.G." Dickerson Slay

Mrs. Janice "G.G." Elizabeth Dickerson Slay, 94, of Calhoun Falls Highway, Elberton, wife of the late James Frank Slay, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Slay was born January 16, 1925 in Elberton, GA to William Alexander Dickerson and Icie Ruth Eavenson Dickerson. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and was retired from the textile industry.

She is survived by her daughter: Sandra Elizabeth Bridges of Elberton, GA; brother: Paul Gibson Dickerson of Laurens, SC, grandchildren: James David Bridges, Michael Allen Bridges, Melissa Faye Shead, Amanda Dawn Richard, seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by siblings: Wynonna Woody, Sarah Clardy and Horace Dickerson.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11AM, Tuesday, July 30 at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
