Mrs. Jean McClain Hulme, 70, of Elberton, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home. A native of Seneca, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late A .D. and Evelyn Lee McClain.Mrs. Hulme was a homemaker and Secretary/Treasurer of Hulme Sales.She was a member of the Elberton First United Methodist Church where she served on the Altar Guild, and was a dedicated member of the Elberton Country Club where she was an active member of The Ladies Golf Association.She was an avid tennis player and golfer all her life, and was in charge of many golf tournaments for both the ladies’ and men's associations. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Don Hulme; daughter and son-in-law,LeeAnne Hulme Freeman and Peter, of Alpharetta; son and daughter-in-law, James D. Hulme, Jr. and Sonya, of Elberton; five grandchildren: Brandt Freeman, Madison Freeman, McClain Freeman, Parker Hulme, and Rachel Hulme; one sister, Wanda McClain Correll, of Elberton; and a very special cousin, Jerri McGee Rucker, of Elberton. A memorial service was held Monday, March 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Elberton First United Methodist Church, with Rev.
