Jeanette Pless Shepherd

Mrs. Martha Jeanette Pless Shepherd, 63, of Dempsey Brown Road, Dewy Rose, Ga wife of Rev. Clifford Shepherd, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015, at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC. Mrs. Shepherd was born January 4, 1952 in Elberton, GA to the late Rev. Oscar Cecil Pless and Lathey Young Pless. Left to cherish her memories are her husband Rev. Clifford Shepherd of the home, sons and daughters-in-law Timothy and Holly Shepherd, Chris and Mary Lynn Shepherd; daughter and son-in-law Michelle and Tommy Brown; siblings Roy Lee and Mae Pless and Hannah Mae Brown; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings Geneva Duncan, Cecil Pless, Jimmy Pless and Hubert Pless. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2PM, Monday March 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Greg McKinney and Rev. Clifford Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Gaines Chapel Cemetery. The family is at the home of Chris and Mary Lynn Shepherd 1382 Lexington Highway and will receive friends from 6-8PM Sunday night at Berry Funeral Home.
