Jeffery Wilton Sanders

Mr. Jeffery Wilton Sanders, 56, passed away at his home Thursday, June 20. 2019. A native of Hart County, Mr. Sanders was the son of the late Rene and Rosseta Whitworth Sanders. He was born August 28, 1962.He worked at the Georgia Welcome Center in Maintenance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Sanders. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Mary Johnson, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Megan Sanders and Tramaine Akers of Lafayette Louisiana and Misti Lewis and Meme Guiterrez of Pendleton, SC; Kasey Sanders of Hartwell; sons and daughter-in-law, Derek and Holly Sanders, Zachary Johnson; grandchildren, Braiden Wilson, Amari and Dezmen Akers, Elizabeth and Ariana Johnson, Yarley Torres and Yaniyla Guiterrez. A memorial service was held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Price Chapel Church of God, 687 Providence Church Rd., Lavonia with Pastor Johnny Stowe officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help defray funeral expenses.
