Mr. Jerry Wayne Perry, 69 of Paoli Road, Carlton, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at his residence.

Mr. Perry was born January 11, 1947 in Madison County, GA to the late Byrd Perry and Clora Guest Perry Pullian. He was a retired stonecutter.

Survivors include son Kevin (Yvonne) Simpson of Abbeville, SC; daughter Kayla Perry of Elberton, GA; sisters Joyce Bowen of Bowman, GA, Joann Neave of Carlton, GA; brother Johnny Perry of Dewy Rose, GA; grandchildren Andrew "A.J." Simpson, Krystal Simpson and Candace Simpson; and his former wife Linda Perry.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 3PM, Thursday June 9 at New Town Baptist Church with Rev. John Guest officiating. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. The family are at their respective homes and will receive friends from 2-3PM Thursday just prior to the service at New Town Baptist Church.
