Jessica Lee Hall

Miss Jessica Lee Hall, 25, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. Jessica was a native of Elberton, a graduate of Elbert County Comprehensive High School and a 2009 Honor Graduate. She was furthering her education at Athens Technical College.Jessica was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Steve Childs; aunts: Stephanie Fleming and Donna Marie Childs; step-grandparents, Norma and Odell Haston; great-grandmother, Tommie A. Hall; and great-grandfather, J. Oliver Hall. Jessica is survived by her mother, Tammy Childs McCannon of Elberton; step-father, Allen McCannon;father and step-mother, James and Teresa Hall;her sister, Christy Hall of Augusta; step-sisters: Allie McCannon of Elberton, Brittany Andrews of Athens, and Kayleigh McGee of Rincon; maternal grandmothers, Peggy Evans Harris and her husband, Jerry, and Mrs. Sara Dye McCannon; paternal grandmother, Vivian Hall Rousey and her husband, Tommy; paternal grandfather, Fred M. Hall, III and his wife, Nancy; niece, Carli Andrews; and a special friend, Barbara A. Bennett. She also leaves behind countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.Jessica had a special love for her boxer, Georgia. A service to celebrate Jessica’s life was held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Elberton Christian Church.A time of visitation began at 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.Interment followed in Forest Hills Memorial Park, with Leyton Brown, Bradley Fleming, Braden Lunsford, Bryce Lunsford, Chandler York, and Connor York serving as pallbearers. Arrangements for Miss Jessica Lee Hall were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
