Jimmy Lee Bassett

Mr. Jimmy Lee Bassett, 42, of Westchester Dr. Athens, GA passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Bassett was born March 13, 1979 in Fulton County, GA to James Francis Bassett and Betty Barret Bassett. He was a forklift operator with GA Recycling Group.

He is survived by his fiancé Bobbie McDevitt; son: JimmyLee Bassett, daughters: Summer Holloman, Hannah Bassett, Chelsea Bassett; siblings: Chris Mitchell, Rita Bassett, Amanda Tingel and Howard Bassett.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 11AM, Sunday September 5, 2021 at Elrods Ferry Recreation Park, 1284 Elrods Ferry Rd. Hartwell, GA with Pastor Patsy Bassett officiating.
