Mr. Jimmy Lewis Mattox, 67, of College Park and a native of Elberton, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta.
Mr. Mattox was born in Elberton on May 12, 1951, son of the late Mozelle Browner Mattox. He was a graduate of Blackwell Memorial High School, a retired furniture finisher, and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children: Raqual Dorsey, Ebonie Smith, and Brandon Malone; siblings: Frances Willis, Patrice Holland, and Charles Mattox; sister-in-law, Elaine Moss; and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, May 18, at 2 o'clock at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
The family is at the residence of Frances Willis, 1014 Wall Drive, Elberton.
Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
