Jimmy Orval Allen Womack

Mr. Jimmy Orval Allen Womack, 81, of Peachtree Rd., Elberton, GA passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Womack was born October 15, 1934 in Dooley Co., GA to the late John Henry Womack and Minnie Allen Womack. He was a retired carpenter, a member of the VFW in Royston, GA where he served for nine years as a Post Commander and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years Barbara Ward Womack; daughter Lori Shull of Elberton, GA; son Allen Womack of Elberton, GA; sisters Helen and Juanita; grandson Cody Austin Shull and a great-grandson Grayson Creed Shull.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson Grant Allen Turner Womack; and six siblings.

Mr. Womack's wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Berry Funeral Home & Crematory of Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Jimmy Orval Allen Womack.
