Joe Mac Brown, Jr.

Mr. Joe Mac Brown, Jr., 89, of Elberton, GA passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Brown was born May 17, 1930 in Alabama to Joe Mac Brown, Sr. and Audrey Beasley Brown. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by sons: Jerry Brown of Elberton, GA, Donald E. Brown of Fayetteville, GA, daughters: Barbara Ann Smith of Maryland, Patricia R. Wells of Florida; brothers: Harry Brown of Florida, Gerald Brown of West Virginia, sister: LaDonna Zimmerman of Maryland; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Eunice Davis Brown.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held at a later date due to the Covid-19 outbreak and interment will be in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.
