Mr. Joel Franklin Griffith, 57, of Parkview Rd., Winterville, GA passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Griffith was born in Athens, GA on February 14, 1961 to Franklin D. Griffith and Alice Moon Griffith. He was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his wife: Wanda Harris Griffith; sisters: Janice M. Harrison of Thomson, GA, Patricia Howard of Conyers, GA, Lucille Wiles of Anderson, SC, Mary Ann McDaniel of Winder, GA and brother: Steve Justin Griffith of Carlton, GA.

Mr. Griffith was cremated and no services are planned at this time.
