Joel Overton Sorrow, 64, of 1023 Smith Andrews Drive, Elberton, Georgia widow of the late Shirley Esco Sorrow passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Born in Clarke County, Georgia January 15, 1949 to the late Joe Sorrow and Effie Meadows Sorrow. Left to cherish his memories are a daughter Violet McDaniel; step-son Ray Dudley; brother Quincey Sorrow; sister Joyce Percely; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive from 3-4PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Berry Funeral Home and Memorial services will be held at a later date.
