John Dale Pierce, Sr.

Mr. John Dale Pierce, Sr., 70, of Sandtown Road, Washington, GA, husband of 49 years to Debra Gale Wilson Pierce, passed away on Wednesday morning, February 8, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Columbia, SC on August 23, 1952, son of the late Willie Ray Pierce and Meta Catherine Gibson Pierce. He was a retired trucker driver and a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving, along with his wife Debra, are his children: John Dale Pierce, Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA and Phillip Russell Pierce and his wife Jill of Hoschton, GA; and grandchildren: John Dale Pierce, III and Katherine Pierce.

The family will conduct a memorial service on Saturday morning, February 11 at 11 o'clock at Fishing Creek Baptist Church, 1762 Sandtown Road, Washington, GA 30673. The Rev. Roy Cates will be officiating, and a luncheon will follow the service.
