John "Danny" Daniel Guthrie

Mr. John "Danny" Daniel Guthrie, 67, of Ranger Road, Elberton, GA husband of Janice Venita Jewell Guthrie passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. Mr. Guthrie was born July 6, 1948 in Hahira, GA to the late John Bremen Guthrie and Sarah Genevieve Smith Guthrie. He was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Janice Venita Jewell Guthrie, daughters and son-in-law Jody Lynn Guthrie of Henderson, NV, Dana and Dean Rewis of Dallas, GA; sister and brother-in-law Luvenia and Julian Pippin of Nashville, GA; and nine grandchildren. Mr. Guthrie's wishes was to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Berry Funeral Home & Crematory, Elberton is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. John "Danny" Daniel Guthrie.
