John Michael Coogler

John Michael Coogler, 54, of 619 Farrar Court, Decatur, GA died Saturday February 27, 2010 at his home. Born in Elbert County he was the son of John Coogler and Jackie Wall Coogler. He was a member of First Baptist Church, worked Maintenance for Four-Seasons Environmental Inc., and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Survivors include his parents John Coogler and Jackie Wall Coogler of Elberton, GA, and a sister and brother-in-law Vicki and Tim Evans of Elberton, GA. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 4, at 11AM at The Memorial Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Fife officiating. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. The family will be at the home of his parents 440 Highland Ave. Elberton, and will receive friends from 10-11AM just prior to the service at Berry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will include Eugene Wallace, Charles Hilley, Bill Childers, George Worley, and Bobby Jones. The family has requested in lieu of flowers please make memorials in his honor to the American Cancer Society Athens Office 1684 Barnett Shoals Road Athens, GA 30605.
