John Robert Hoernig

Mr. John Robert Hoernig, 66, of Lavonia, GA passed during a battle with cancer Sunday, February 20, 2022.

He was born December 10, 1955 in Hebron, IN to Bob Hoernig and Bonnie Hoernig. He was a retired auto mechanic and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

John was a gentle giant! He loved nature and the wonders of the country life. He and his life partner Gail lived on lake Hartwell in Northeast Georgia and enjoyed spending time by the lake fishing and swimming. But most of all he loved his Savior Jesus Christ.

John and Gail are members of Christ Intervention Ministries who has morning tea services on Facebook on weds..fridays..and Sundays. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
