John Winfield Carson, Sr.

Mr. John Winfield Carson, Sr., 67, of Poplar Springs Rd. Elberton, GA passed away Wednesday June 3, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Carson was born September 10, 1952 in Lewistown, PA to Charles and Patricia Carson. He was a retired stocker from Quality Foods.

He is survived by daughters: Jessica Deleon of Elberon, GA, Joyce Carson of Springdale, AR; son: Jamie Marshall of Lewistown, PA, sister: Shirley Carson of Lewistown, PA; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lorma LeFevre Carson, son John Winfield Carson, Jr. and a brother Charles Carlson, Jr.

Memorial services to celebrate John's life will be held at a later date.
