Johnny Darrell Salyers

Mr. Johnny Darrell Salyers of Elberton, GA., passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Elbert Memorial Hospital. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Salyers was the son of the late Albert Cecil Salyers and Maggie Ovelia Grant Salyers.He was born on February 17, 1959.He was employed with the City of Elberton in the public works department. Survivors include his fiancée Ms. Janet Areco, son Johnny Darrell Salyers, Jr., seven grandchildren, a brother Cecil Larry Salyers and a sister Brenda Gay Brown. His was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Lee Edwards Salyers and Wilbur Gene Salyers, one sister Phyllis Shuler. Mr. Salyers wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements for Mr. Johnny Smith are in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
