Johnny Oliver Scarborough

Mr. Johnny Oliver Scarborough of Elberton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at his home. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Scarborough was the son of the late Henry Lawson Scarborough and Fannie Mae Bell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Brown Scarborough; a daughter, Dianne Goldberg; and two brothers, Thomas Scarborough and Henry Lawson Scarborough, Jr.He was a self-employed auto salesman and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include two daughters, Margie Burke and Debra Bond of Elberton; a son, Johnny Scarborough, Jr. of Aiken SC; a brother, Elmer Scarborough; and three grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment was conducted in Elmhurst Cemetery. Arrangements for Mr. Johnny Oliver Scarborough were in the care of Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Elberton.
