Joshua Talmadge Bolmon

Mr. Joshua Talmadge Bolmon, 33, of Elberton, Georgia passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Bolmon was born in Elberton, and was the husband of Rita Chandler Bolmon.Mr. Bolmon worked as a maintenance technician. In addition to his wife, Rita, Josh is survived by his children, Codie Jones and Mia Bolmon; his mother and step-father, Linda and Jerry Virgilio;and his father and step-mother, Talmadge Bolmon and Robin Edwards.He is also survived by a sister, Christa Bolmon;his grandmother, Geanette Sims;his grandfather, Clifford Gardner; a niece, Ariona Boleman; and several aunts and uncles. A service to celebrate Josh’s life was held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, with Rev. Eric Lundy officiating.A time of visitation began at 12:30 p.m. just prior to the service.Interment followed in Oak View Cemetery in Canon, with Keith Thomas, Codie Jones, Charles Grimes, Matt Boleman, Richard Garner, and Robert Chandler serving as pallbearers. Clifford Gardner Talmadge Bolmon, Randall Bolmon, and Thomas Conn will serve as honorary pallbearers. Hicks Funeral Home & Cremation Services was caring for the family of Mr. Joshua Talmadge Bolmon.
