Joyce Kaye Cummings Hancock

Mrs. Joyce Kaye (Cummings) Hancock, 86, of Hull, GA, wife of the late Arthur Dale Hancock, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Hancock was born in Muncie, IN on January 26, 1939, daughter of the late Robert William Cummings and Martha Alma (Bousman) Cummings. She was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and worked as a hairdresser in her younger years. Joyce enjoyed reading, completing crossword puzzles, quilting, and crocheting.

Surviving are her children: Lynn (James) Peckinpaugh, Craig (Thea) Wilhoite, Susan (Brett) Gregorio, Mitchell (Jean) Hancock, and Sean (Michelle) Hancock; sister, Judith Ann Keihn; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
