Judy Sanders Lawrence

Mrs. Judy Sanders Lawrence, 70, of Crumps Road, Hartwell, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home.

Born on March 14, 1952 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Emmett B. Sanders and Hazel Louise Coile Sanders. Mrs. Lawrence was a former social worker for Heardmont Nursing Home, and a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter: Sharon Peace (David) of Hartwell; brother: Wes Sanders of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Alicia Mewborn (Dusty) and Ryan Peace (Erica); and six great grandchildren: Alexis Byers, Macie Byers, Kendall Mewborn, Auri Peace, Cole Mewborn, and Urijah Peace. Mrs. Lawrence is preceded in death by her parents; husband: William Larry Lawrence; and two sons: Adam Sanders and Travis Lawrence.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Judy Lawrence will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

Flowers optional, memorials may be made to the Flat Shoals Baptist Church, 2999 Bowersville Hwy, Bowersville, GA 30516.
